Tips for using your lip pencils

Women are often nervous about using lip pencils because they are worried about applying them. Don’t be! Once you have used our soft pencils a few times you will find it really easy.

Here are a couple of tips to help you.

Try and match the shade of your lip pencil to your lipstick. It doesn’t matter if it’s not exact, but it should be a close match. Alternatively, use a shade (like nude) for a close match to your natural lip colour.

Another common mistake is not filling in the whole lip. This is a very effective way of helping with the longevity of your lipstick and stopping the lipstick bleeding and feathering.

Never draw your lips from corner to corner, draw from a few millimetres away from each corner and focus on the cupid’s bow and the middle of the bottom lip.
